• September 2-5: I'm teaching a memoir writing workshop in Jackson Hole, WY, at the Teton Public Library. FREE.

• September 17-18: I'm reading at both PAULINA SPRINGS BOOKS stores, in Sisters and Redmond, OR.

• October 8: I'll read at the Writer's Center in Bethesda, Maryland. I was selected as a nonfiction writing fellow there for 2010. More information at www.writer.org

• November 4-6: University of Iowa, the NonfictioNow Conference --I'll be on a panel called "How We Call Home: Writing from the West Side of the Brain."

• January 6: I'll be part of the faculty at the Pacific University MFA residency in Seaside, OR.
