I’ll visit classes and give a public reading at Pacific University in Forest Grove.

I’ll give a public reading at the community college in Pasco, Washington, 7 p.m.
May 12
I’ll join others at the University of Oregon seminar on memoir writing, sponsored by the Center for the Study of Women in Society.
May 20-25
I will lead a seminar on memoir writing at a writer’s conference in Bulgaria, the 2012 Sozopol Seminar, which was founded by novelist Elizabeth Kostova.
June 8-12
I’ll teach a memoir workshop at the Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference in Alaska.
June 14
The Pacific University MFA Program in Writing Residency begins.

Portland’s Literary Arts Series Delve: I’ll be discussing the books of Stacey Schiff, including her latest, a biography of Cleopatra.

I’ll be reading, along with five other authors, for the annual Magic Barrel event in Corvallis. All proceeds will go to the local food bank.
